Cancellation & Refund

Recurring plans cancel at the end of the active billing period. Refunds are reviewed case by case for duplicate, erroneous, or failed-delivery scenarios.

1. Subscription cancellation

The family owner can cancel a paid subscription from the billing dashboard. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal and leaves the current paid cycle active until its scheduled end date.

If a customer pauses or cancels a UPI AutoPay or other recurring mandate through their bank or supported app, subsequent renewals may fail until a new successful payment method is authorized.

2. Top-up purchases and credit use

Top-up packs are one-time digital purchases intended to add credits to an active paid workspace. Once credits are granted to the wallet or used for submissions, the purchase is normally non-refundable except where required by law or where the payment was duplicated, processed in error, or failed to deliver the purchased service.

Credits are not cash equivalents, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be transferred outside the purchasing family workspace.

3. Refund review and credit reversals

Refund requests are typically reviewed for situations such as:

  • duplicate payments or accidental repeated renewals;
  • technical errors resulting in a captured payment without service delivery; or
  • other billing issues verified by ChalkBerry support.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, ChalkBerry may reverse the associated credits, invoices, or promotional rewards. If refunded credits were already used, the wallet can temporarily show a negative balance until it is offset by later purchases or adjustments.

4. Refund timing and support path

Once ChalkBerry approves a refund, the refund instruction is initiated to the original payment source. Final settlement timing depends on Razorpay, the bank, card network, or UPI provider, and typically appears within 5 to 10 business days.
