1. Service scope
ChalkBerry is a digital study-review platform for families. The service lets users upload handwritten practice, question papers, and answer keys to receive AI-assisted feedback, progress tracking, exports, and study-plan style guidance.
ChalkBerry is designed for revision support. It is not an official grading authority, school, board, university, or tutoring outcome guarantee.
2. Accounts and family responsibility
The family owner is responsible for the billing profile, workspace members, and payment actions taken on the family account. Users must keep contact and billing details accurate so invoices, renewal notices, and support responses can reach the correct person.
If a parent or guardian creates student profiles for minors, that adult is responsible for the legality of the uploaded content, the permissions to use it, and the management of any shared report links.
3. Subscriptions, renewals, and credits
ChalkBerry offers monthly and yearly plans billed in advance in INR through hosted Razorpay checkout. Unless a subscription is cancelled before the next renewal, it renews automatically using the active Razorpay mandate or other supported recurring payment method.
- Cancelling a subscription stops the next renewal and does not automatically end the current paid period.
- One uploaded page or image currently consumes one credit.
- Included plan credits are cycle-based and may expire at the end of the relevant billing cycle if unused.
- Top-up packs are one-time purchases for active paid subscriptions and are linked to the purchasing family workspace.
- Credits, promotional rewards, or invoices may be adjusted if a payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed.
Pricing, features, and limits may change for future billing cycles. Material pricing changes will be reflected on the public pricing page before new renewals are charged.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ChalkBerry to:
- upload content you do not have the right to process or share;
- submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, or misleading material;
- interfere with platform security, rate limits, or service integrity;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the service to build a competing product; or
- misrepresent ChalkBerry reports as official school or board-issued marksheets.
5. User content and platform materials
You retain ownership of your uploaded content. You grant ChalkBerry the limited rights needed to host, process, analyze, and display that content in order to provide the service.
ChalkBerry and its licensors retain the intellectual property rights in the software, workflows, branding, and site materials. Generated feedback and reports are provided for family workspace use, but users remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
6. Availability, disclaimers, and changes
ChalkBerry is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the platform reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free outputs, or compatibility with every device, browser, or payment method.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, or operational maintenance.
7. Liability and contact
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChalkBerry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for a billing dispute is limited to the amount paid for the affected plan cycle or purchase.
Billing, delivery, cancellation, and privacy details are described further in our Pricing, Shipping & Delivery, Cancellation & Refund, and Privacy Policy.
